The future is hard to predict. In this environment our ability to have fundraising events to provide resources for our kids have been limited. But one thing we know is that we will need resources to fuel our mission for years to come. That is why we have established “The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria Endowment Fund”. The fund is professionally invested for the long-term stability of our Clubs.
The word “endowment” simply means that your legacy gift will be conservatively invested and managed by Bill Kwon, Morgan Stanley, for the benefit of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria and our community and kids. The earnings of these invested funds will be used to fulfill our mission. Earnings from funds may be distributed on a quarterly basis to support the budgets and costs needed to operate our Clubs. This endowment fund will create a safety net for the kids of our community that will allow us to be secure without the uncertainty of state funds or fundraising events. We need to control our future and the future of our community.
You can play a part. There are a variety of ways to give that provide you with maximum tax and financial benefits. They include:
- A gift made in your will or trust
- A gift of life insurance or retirement assets
- Cash donations through our secure website.

To help initiate this program, ELM, 60 State Street, Peoria, Illinois, has offered a challenge of matching any donations to the endowment fund, dollar for dollar, up to a $100,000 .
