Individual and volunteer groups are critical networks of support for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria. The Clubs has a variety of opportunities for your participation!
Volunteers can engage youth through tutoring, homework help, art projects, board games, sports, field trips and other recreational activities. Please note to engage in one-on-one activities with youth the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria follow stringent Boys & Girls Clubs of America guidelines for clearances and background checks. The time of greatest time of need is in the immediate after school hours of 3:00 – 5:30 pm. Complete a volunteer application to start the process. One-time volunteer projects can be set up to fit your group size and specific time frame. Projects range from beautification (planting flowers, raking leaves) to general maintenance projects (painting, cleaning). If you are interested in volunteering for a one-time group opportunity please contact Lisa Fisher at 309-685-6007 ext. 112.
For individuals and organizations who lack time but are still looking for ways to support the Clubs we are always in need of new school supplies, holiday toys, sporting equipment, games crafts and other supplies that make the Club a vibrant and special place for young people. The Club organizes multiple events throughout the year—from fundraisers to family events—that require the assistance of numerous volunteers.
